Giannitsochori

We left our superb overnight stop and headed west downwards from the mountains back to the west coast of the Peloponnese arriving at the village of Tholo.

We didn’t fancy the look of either the beach or camp site there so continued southwards for a few kilometres to Giannitsochori where we found a location to our liking. We had our first swim in the sea of this trip at the adjacent beach and in the evening the owner of the local taverna lit his barbeque especially to cook sardines and pork kebabs for us.
