We got up early and were the first customers to be let into the Ancient Olympics site at 8.20. Although the buildings are not by any means complete they cover a large area in a beautiful valley with the Hill of Kronos in the background. It was magical seeing this important historical location in the morning light and with hardly anyone else there.

Adjacent is an impressive Archaeological Museum containing the important finds from the site.
