Question: What role do women play in this society? Do they have equality? If not, what discrimination do women in this country face?

Greece family households usually have men on top, being more important than women are. In the Greece household there are different family roles. In the article it states that it is more common for men to take the main jobs in the family. Men are the income earners in Greek families. Women seem less important because they to stay home and take care of their children and do household work. I learned that different genders in Greece does affect how woman are treated.

In Greece women play a more motherly role in families. This is because they stay home while men go to work. Women do not have equality in Greece because in the article is discusses how a mans work is viewed as being more important, even if a woman does the same thing. Because of this women either don't get hired for a job because they don't seem good enough compared to a man. Also woman then have to rely on their husband or family for the things they need, if they cant provide for themselves. Women are also obeying to men. Men make all the decisions for the family. Therefore, women in Greece don't have equality.
