Wednesday continued

We updated the blog, with a few recent pictures and surfed for any information about the port of Piraeus, but couldn't find anything.

We went to the self-service restaurant for dinner at about eight thirty. A meat kebab and pork steak with a salad and drinks, total €35.50.

Announcements were made during dinner to say that the weather was still bad and the authorities would not allow the ship to sail?

The on board shops were now open so we took a look at them and then returned to the cabin.

Thursday, 4th December, 2008

We awoke after a reasonable nights sleep, to find ourselves in Sunny Pireaus. Not where we would have hoped, but it doesn't really matter.

There are announcements in Greek now and again, but no translation. There is a translation when they tell you the restaurants are open, but not anything important.

So we popped along to reception and all we can find out so far is that the weather is still bad and we ain't sailing yet.

We take it in turns to go to reception separately, so they don't get too fed up with us.
