Baker man... totally made out of Lego Thank goodness to whoever created McDonalds... I even got a free CocaCola glass because it is McDonalds' birthday! After a pile of that we were a bunch of fluffy ducks and headed to Legoland! We were able to skip the queues because we had already bought tickets (See Monique... that's why we did it!). What a whole lot of lego! I have taken about 200 photos but I won't subject you guys to them all in one blog entry! LOL. It was soooooo cool! We spent about 1.5 hours looking around the mini-land (of course Steve almost drooled when he came across the Airport mini-land) – It is absolutely amazing how much detail, blocks and time goes into every building, vehicle and other creations. When we first walked in there was a human sized family made entirely from lego blocks, when we walked past the barkey place there was a baker standing outside, I took a photo of an old lady feeding the pigeons... it was soooooo cool! Outside the toilets there was a plumber carrying a toilet...made out of Lego. When we found a place for lunch I pulled out the map to see how much ground we had covered

Steve controlling a crane expecting us to have covered quite a bit... we had covered a 5cm diameter circle in a map the size of A1 paper. We went on a few rides towards the end of the day (one where Nicole and I had to pedal around and Steve sat on his backside in the back), there was a ride where we sat in a circular thingy and it twisted us up high and we got to see a 360 degree view of the park... Considering how scared I am of heights I have certainly being doing a lot of things require me to go up high! The last ride we went on was the rollercoaster... I didn't really think about where I sat... I sat in the front on the side that hung towards the outside to the ride... I think I said bad words about 80% of the ride... I was rather scary and even Steve threw a few swear words out! We at the park until about 5.30. The last stop was the shop of course! Nicole bought a very cool clock that looks like a large lego block and I bought a key ring and two lego heads that

To remind us of Christchurch! One of the displays had a digger and house being demolished are actually salt and pepper shakers... they are seriously cool!
After Legoland we drove to Stuttgart for our last night in Germany. The hotel screwed up our booking and put us down for a double room so the recpetionist changed that, then were were put into a triple room but the second we opened the door we choked and saw they had put us in a smoker's room so we went back to reception and saked to be changed and the only thing she was able to do was for us to pay an extra 15 euro to stay in a double and single room, even though it was their screw up... I was not happy but too tired to argue! We went into the town centre and they were having some sort of festival and all the 'alternative' people were on the streets... we got our dinner fast, ate and left!
Early night tonight because we have to drive back to Lingen tomorrow!
Over and out!
Xx
