Train from Munich to Fussen
Close to the city of Fussen. Sunday morning, we left munich at 8 and took 2.5 hrs train to Fussen. It is a day trip, but I think it is worth to go for sure.
After the train, buses and finally we arrived at Hohenschwangau Castle which is where Ludwig lived as a child. This castle is yellow brown colour, kind of small and it has a casual feeling for it. Nothing particularly cool about it.
On the other hand, Neuchewanstein castle is a different story. You must remember the image of all the disneyland castle. Basically all those castles are a copy of this. It is beautiful, it appears through the mountain. Lugwig spent 17 years and tons of money to create this. It never completed. Inside is beautiful and interesting. He only lived there for 186 days and the doctor declared him "crazy". And he was found dead right after.
I know I know.... pics eh..... I will put them up soon
later
