Scenery on my way to the centre of Munich My first trip of the year and it almost turned into a non-trip.
I left yesterday night for Munich but before that I was doing some last minute packing and stuff. So when I went looking for my passport, I noticed that it was not in it's usually place. I looked around to see if I put it somewhere else. Still didn't turn up so I started to panic and freak out, (I was tired and had finished a school assignment the night before and didn't get much sleep). I moved furniture to see if it fallen somewhere, nope. I even went to the school library to see if it was there, no. I was balling my eyes out because I was so looking forward to this trip. Luckily I found in in the least likely place, my scanner, (I printed out copies of it for some family members). When I realized where it was, I started to laugh...out of all those places, hehe.
After that, I headed to the airport where lines were surprisingly fast consider it was the first Saturday of Reading Week. Before the flight I had my traditional meal at a cafe inside the terminal.

More scenery on my way to the centre of Munich I also have a bottle of Canadian to savour before I go off on some far-off country.
The airline I flew to get to Munich was Air France, so I had to connect in Paris. It was my first time flying this airline and it was pretty good, (except for the seats, they were horrible). Paris was a tiring experience as didn't expect the distance of the two terminals that I had to switch was that far.
After heading to the gate and boarding the plane, I found that I had no leg room, not even enough to stretch out my legs, so I felt like a crushed sardine. Not only that but on both flights I felt a bit claustrophobic which I never felt before in my life.
I was so happy when I arrived in Munich, as there was a possibility that I might of not come. So I picked my bag from baggage claim and headed to the S-bahn to catch a suburban train to the centre of Munich where my hostel was. The trains are nice here and it wasn't a boring train ride as some in the past. I got off at
Hauptbahnhof "Munich Central Station" and tried to find the hostel but I got lost as I didnt't remember the entire directions to get here. I found directions at the Tourist Information Centre. I ended up one block up then I was supposed to but I found a nice cafe and delicious pizza. I eventually found where it was and eventually found it and checked in.
Later I went out for dinner, I was feeling for McDonalds and there was one located in the the train station but when I got there it was busy and no where to sit. So I doubled-backed and went to Pizza Hut instead where they had Pepsi (which is awesome and best I ever tested so far), with free refills in decent size for only 0.90€, (approx. $1.27 CDN). Dinner was good too, I just had a "Normal" sized (Personal Pizza size) Hawaiian which was delicious.
I wonder what will be up for tomorrow?
