We woke up to a rainy copenhagen today!! But we were super excited cos we had scoped out a really nice looking brunch place to go in a book one of my patients gave me! Meant to be the best cafe in copenhagen for brunch! So we got up, dressed and headed off to explore with mellow yellow (my dublin umbrella!) Ben with no help of myself found this cute lil cottage looking place with gorgeous water views- very very old but when we looked closer we saw that it was shut and there was a sign infront in danish. We had no idea what it said but we left with an idea that it said it was shut due to hygiene reasons! We were so gutted cos were so excited and really didnt have an option 2! So we headed down to harbour in search of brunch. By the time we reached the harbour - which was gorgeous even in the greyness and rain, we were freezing and struggling to find some brunch cos now it was lunch time! But we eventually found somewhere settled in under a heater outside and snuggled up in the blankets they provided! mmm cosy!
We ordered a danish brunch platter each which had pretty much a bit of everything ud want for breakie! Pretty good 😊
So, fed and feeling less irritable (me not ben!) we went in search of a boat that was covered to do a cruise around copenhagen! We jumped on one and snuggled up! The windows needed windscreen wipers cos it was pretty hard to actually see any of copenhagen! But we did see the butt of the little mermaid! It was facing the wrong way - unhelpful! what was she thinkig?! We crusied under this bridge called the storm bridge and as we came out of it the weather had literally turned into a storm as we went through! no wonder its called a storm bridge! 😊
We then decided to epxlore copehagen a bit in the rain thank goodness for mellow yellow! We headed to the royal palace - not that impressive i didnt think! And i thought pricess mary would at least come out and say gidday but no. So disappointing! :P We then went in search of the gardens where a castle homes the royal crown jewels. It was so gorgeous! We had fun

sooo many bikes everywhere! for ages doing mary poppins shots! bens best shot didnt even have me in it! I was jumping but he missed me completely and just got a lovely shot of the castle!! Room for improvement! But he made an amazing mary poppins!
Pretty cold and wet we stumbled across somewhere for lunch at 4pm which was really nice and candlelit ooooo 😊 We then went and played pool for a while and waited for the rain to stop before heading home again to warm up!!
Had a great day and we were both stoked that we saw everything we wanted to but slightly disappointed with the weather! Unfortunately all the pics look poo grey! But a pretty cool city!
