This morning one of the other Christchurch girl's said 'It's September 4th today' and it took me a while to click! I cannot believe it has been an entire year that we have put up with earthquakes!
This morning brekkie wasn't until 9.30 but it got very warm so Steve and I were up at 7.40 and got ready to put a load of washing on... problem was the guy standing in the reception did not speak a single word of English and I had to sit outside the reception area for 50 minutes waiting for an English speaking receptionist to arrive (even though the sign on the door said reception was open from 6am-10pm!!!!!). We got our load of washing on and were then informed it would take 90 minutes to go through the washing cycle... apparently Prague-eans do not do anything quickly! After brekkie we Skyped our families which was nice to talk to them again because we haven't spoken for quite some time! By the time we headed into Prague it was 1pm! We grabbed a bite to eat for lunch, went to the Summer Palace and Gardens then went to the castle at the top of the

hill that had a massive Gothic looking cathedral inside it. After this we headed to St Stephen's Bridge to shop because there were heaps of cute little stalls along the bridge. Our aim today was to get a caraciture done of us but in the end we decided it was going to be too hard to keep safe so we will wait for a while. After this we sat on the bank of the river for a while before heading to the centre of town to meet Tim and Carla for dinner. When we met them Tim showed us his new shorts... fluro green shorts... 'Bargin... less than 3 Euro'... next thing we are in the shop and Steve was purchasing matching shorts but fluro orange... they are STUNNING!!!! I also got a maxi dress which cost just as much as Steve's shorts... Original 730 Chech Krowns and I got it for 79 Chech Krowns... Bargain!!!!
We went out for tea at a Greek restaurant and I had a delicious pizza and Steve had a salmon pasta. After this we met up with about 10 others to go out for a drink with the birthday girl.
Got home on time
