Flu bug

There is a bug going around the seminary making lots of people sick with a stomach flu. Dejan Adam, our neighbor across the hall, is sick and Agnes, who lives on our hallway, is also sick. Agnes has really been sick all week. Dejan’s fiancee is coming to visit in two weeks and he has two papers he says, “I have to finish before she gets here. So, I will stay in my bed tomorrow and work on my papers.” Nancy has been editing his work.

We said the other day that the one aspect we do not like here is having to say goodbye to people we have met for a short time and grown to like very much. That happened again today as this was Josef’s last day. Tomorrow he returns home to Sweden. Everyday when not in class he was in the library studying. We will miss him.

Josef spent almost all his time studying and doing research for his thesis in the library. He leaves tomorrow for Stockholm.
