Vienna - December 2008

After yet another train ride we arrived in Vienna. We were still feeling pretty worse for wear so we made our way to our hostel and checked in before going out for a quick look around.

The next morning feeling rejuvenated we got up and spent the day sightseeing. I went to the Schonbrunn Palace and Belvedere Palace which were both beautiful inside. I then took a tram out to Grinzing which is just out of Vienna and spent some time there, it was only about 30 mins out of the city it was a beautiful village that was completely different from Vienna itself.

We met up in the afternoon and checked out the city centre together along with the christmas market (we went to a christmas market in every city!), and we then ended up at an Aussie pub killing some time before we needed to go back to the hostel to pick up our bags.

We had some dinner then made our way toward the main train station and boarded the overnight train to Krakow.
