So, the next day, I realised I had so much preparation and sorting to do that I watched all the guests leave for their days hiking/cycling and found some time to chat to Peter about the rest of the week, and to try and get a hold on the activities that people had said they wanted to do... sorted out some signage in response! Once this was sorted, I decided to go for a look round (central) Itter, which is comprised of a handful of hotels, an outdoor swimming pool/tennis courts, a beauty parlour, a bank, a small bakery (open 7-12; 3-6, I think), a church, a castle (not available to the public), and several houses.
