The Mozart gardens
Yesterday, we headed off to Austria for the day since it was just an hour and a half train ride from Munich. The country from what we saw of it on the train is quite beautiful and very much like Switzerland.

We landed in Salzburg around 10AM and walked around the city for a few hours. The city is the hometown of Mozart so everything is around his life. There were gardens where he developed some of his music, a museum, birthplace, several music halls dedicated to him and everything in-between.

Unfortunately we still have not got our temperature conversions right and were quite cold the entire day. It was supposed to be around 13C and it should have been around 55F but it never left the 40'sF.

As for the drinking - we are both safe and doing well. Yesterday as we were heading to the train station at 8AM, there were thousands of folks heading to the Oktoberfest so they could get in at 9AM.

Will write more later, I have a line of folks waiting for the computer...
