A Nice Time at the Lake

After leaving the Oaxaca coast we drove one day to San Cristobal, Chiapas, Mexico. A long drive to the cool of the mountains.

After two days, we drove to Comitan, Chiapas and on the next day to Guatamala staying one night in Huehuetenango. After driving to Panajachel on Lago Atitlan we explored the roads to San Marcos where the road ends. The views of the lake and volcanos are truly special.

We parked the truck in Hugo's yard for 25Q per day and have now been in the lovely small native lake town of Jaibalito where we have been for the last three nights with good new friends. If you need something special like schnitzel, cheese or good bread, Hans is the man to see.

Today we travel to Antigua with German Mike and his lawyer girlfriend Elena to explore Antigua.
