Hi all,
Once again we have let alot of time elapse between blogs....but we have been quite busy
After arriving back on Pegaso in Ft Lauderdale in mid march we had 2 weeks left of a maintenance period.It was cool there with good nightlife and some spring breakers stilll hanging around an it was also good to see Cliff(pips bro) who started on our boat while we were at home.
From there it was down to Southbeach,Miami.Had an awesome time there in between the guests coming on and off the boat for several days at a time.Spent about another 2 weeks there before we made our way down to Cancun,Mexico.From the day we left Miami it has been flat out for 7 weeks with the boss being based on the boat full time,we did manage to get out now and then however and even went with the boss to watch a 1st division football game.He owns a few different teams and unfortunatly they didnt win that night but still a wicked time.
After Mexico we went to Cuba.Spent 10 days in Cienfuegos and Jardeine de la Reine.What an amazing country.We were so fascinated watching all the 1950s chevys and thunderbirds cruizing around the streets along with the ladas and other russian built trucks etc,and yes Ryan had to buy a case of cigars,all so cheap!!The boss was there for the diving and it was intense with so many sharks around on every dive...not to many of the crew were swimming if they didnt have to!Finally after 7 weeks of the boss he gave us a 10 day break which has turned into 18 days which has been great.We have come down to the Cayman islands and have been doing loads of diving and snorkelling with the stingrays and basically just having some RnR.At the moment all the deck crew are doing a recompression chamber course so we all can operate the chamber we have onboard correctly...just a safety precaution
From here we can expect to be getting back underway this weekend for round 2 in Cuba and then its anybodies guess.....anywho,we hope all is well back home and that the winter hasnt been to nasty,we are soaking up enough sun for all here
