Jimmy Buffet Style

So we left yesterday to a beach two hours away without any reservations made nor any exact idea where we were going. The two hour bus ride was interesting and filled with an eclectic group of people, and old lady selling weird books, a young man selling god knows what, and we'll just say some people that hadn't taken a shower in a while. As we drove into Jaco, the four of us stood out like any other tourists and first, (in great tourist fashion) asked where the beach was instead of where we could find a hotel. We found a cheap cabina right on the beach with a bar that resembled Manny's in puerto penasco for those of you who are familiar with it. And as i was taught by the two masters (my mom and jimmy buffet) we ordered a round of beers, put on some music and just took in the sun and salt.

Today we embark for Puntarenas for the carnival celebrations.

I encourage all of you to live like buffet and relax, because come Monday it'll be alright.
