Challenge You're not allowed to come home until you can spin a ball on a pen out your bum. Might be a little tougher than carrying something on your head with no hands.
Calling for volunteers for the next tour of God's own country. Are you up for it? Especially if I can arrange for a return of the sexiest man in leather, and another U2 concert!!!!
Oirish. There's some smut in these pics, you muff hooker! The muff one made me laugh out loud. And, I have to say, you do do a good Flatley pose. Thought about a career change?
Finally, she is alive!!!!!!!!!!! Missed your blogs girl. Joey is back and I'll annoy her later with all the gory details. Keep having fun. Miss you heaps.

Great post I've just thrown up a post about the Huayan Potosi in which a large cravasse and a vicious pack of Alpacas get involved. I've linked to this site from my blog as it made a great read.

hi jay,
we went with peru treks. they were really good. highly recommend them, but you have to book well (months maybe) in advance. think it was roughly US$500, give or take. we didn't take too much - just sleeping bag and change of clothes. they carry your tent for you, and you can hire a porter to carry your bag if you want, or just carry it yourself. had plenty of water, they provide it, and massive amounts of food.
a few people stayed on the next day, but mainly just hanging around aguas caliente (the town), rather than climbing WP. apparently if you try and ask around 10.30/11ish (after you've done the trek) you can climb it, because not everyone uses their tickets. that's about it.

Did you have enough water? Any other things you could remember would be great thanks for your time ANy other infor would be great? Did anyone in your group stay the extra day to climb Waynu Picchu ? Is it worth staying another day to do see from that view?
What a crack up..... needed a good laugh. The photos are soooooo funny, you must have had a lot of time on your hands to get them right. I believe you almost look life size in some!!! hehe. Interesting looking cacti!!
Are you toughest of all Howell women? Ice axes and crampons...! Congratulations on doing something pretty awesome. Your achievements are always all the more impressive on account of your peak physical condition and strict "nutritional regime". You know I would have been vomiting in the carpark at 4700m!
Thought you'd been quite for a while. You have been a very busy girl. The Amazon sunrise is absolutely beautiful and the death road looks terrifying. miss ya....
Oh my God, I have just finished laughing...... had to stop reading it at work and start again at home. The photos are amazing and I'm so jealous that St Chris gets to go to more places than I'll ever go. love ya and miss ya.
