Day 78 So I stayed with a missionary just south of Brussels. They had five kids. Joel, Jared, Jaden, Johnny, and a ten year old Girl which name I have forgotten (don’t tell her). We had a fun time playing basketball, riding the four-wheeler and trying to stay out of trouble. I left there on Monday and went to Waterloo, and Flanders’s field Cemetery. For whatever reason I missed almost all my trains that day, some by just a few minutes. The worst is when you ask someone which train you need and they point to the one pulling away. I spent the night in Dunkirk. The next day I was able to visit the pier and beaches. It was here the British and French did what they are the best at (I’m joking Ross). The ... read more

If you don't know about the Battle of Verdun check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Verdun So the site has been having trouble. Some of the pictures were lost, and it's been down all day and now it's late, so all you get is a video. This was shot a few days ago. "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." - Thomas Jefferson, 3rd president ... read more

Day 72 Well Belgium is now officially my favorite country in Europe. The reason is because everyone i asked for help today was vary nice, even those who did not speak English. I'll go threw my day, which was one of those day that never happen. The one where everything goes right. It started with finding the U.S. cemetery. I had to take a bus about five miles outside of Luxembourg city, where I spent the night. Well it is hard to know which bus stop to get off when riding the bus because the signs, if they have any they are very small, plus i didn't know which one I wanted. Well I ended up getting of to early, but the good news is the stop I got off at had a sign pointing toward ... read more

You have to know where you've been to know where you are going You're a 90's kid if: You can sing the rap to "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air" You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons. You remember reading "Goosebumps" You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school. You remember the craze, then the banning of slap bracelets and slam books. You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence...Not... Where in the world is Carmen San Diego? was both a game and a TV game show. You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green Ranger were meant to be together. You remember when super nintendos became popular. You remember boom boxes vs. cd players You knew all the characters ... read more
