It was not the only reason to me to be pleased, being in wonderful place, but as well being in wonderful company. My dear indefatiguable Mr. M came one more time to see me and spend that day together. We were both that charmed by this place so we planned to learn some useful spanish phrases and come back here one day again (unfortunately it is not very common here to find english speaking person). The Resort in which we've had pleasure to spend our layover is a complex of everything what you may need within hand's reach. The bar where they serve beautiful tropical drinks, restaurant with delicious food, small stores with local products, swimming pool, sunbeds, umbrellas and heavenly beach rinsing by Indian Ocean water. It all together creates perfectly relaxing atmosphere. Resort offers wariety of water activities, but at the same time warns against driffting to far away, becouse of strong ocean current in this area so in concern ... read more

Africa » Nigeria » Lagos April 24th 2016

General info: Currency: Nigerian Naira Cost of living: 1,5 L bottle of water 150 N, 0,5 L local beer in hotel bar 900 N First impression from Lagos doesn't make your face smile. It's not even becouse of airport is not brand new or haevn't heard of technological miracles like air conditioning. What make your hair stand on end are police officers walking all around carying machine guns size a half of their height, ready to use them any time. Our transport to the hotel was escorted by them. It shows with no doubts the level of safety in local streets. The city seen by window from behind of curtains on the way looked poor and not very esthetic. Fortunately the hotel was quite nice, friendly staff welcomed us with cool juices. Becouse there were no ... read more
