Sorry about the cold weather...
at least Paris has many indoor activities, except on Mondays. But at least you have restaurants with great food. I believe you are on your way to the Portuguese Camino...I hope the weather is perfect.

Thanks!
The Camino isn’t until October and I’ll do the Francés again; I just love ie. we don’t mind the cold. It’s not what we’re used to so there’s a novelty factor there. We never see snow.

Arrows!
Like you, I loved following those yellow arrows. I've never been in an Ikea, but I've heard they are huge and a bit overwhelming. How great to hear you're doing the Portuguese camino next year. Portugal is a fabulous, friendly country where more people speak English than in any of the other Romance language countries. Portugal and England have the oldest treaty in Europe, the English helped push the hated Spain occupiers out and England buys lots of Spanish port. Buen Camino!

Arrows or Apps?
I enjoyed following the arrows and signs. I walked with people who followed apps and they spend a fair amount of time with their head buried in their phone, and still get lost occasionally. Admittedly I used technology for this blog and staying in contact, but I always preferred to find my way by the method intended. Sometimes being lost brings the greatest surprises. Cheers S

Congratulations on your Camino!
Wow, making it to Finisterre and Muxia--well-done! I also had that experience on the return of taking a bus that took hours in what had taken me days to walk, and I completely agree that walking was much more enjoyable! Hope you enjoy your last days in that beautiful, stone city of Santiago!

I'm Done
It's been all I hoped for but it's time to go home. I'll be back at some stage but a different route. I'm interested in seeing what is available nearer home for some walks now. Just need to settle back into life at home and plan for a couple of years time. Thanks for your support Tara; until next time, keep looking!

34kms Today...
...1 was 500meters back to find out I was going the right way, then 500 meters back again. Going well, first in the Alburgue....again. Pick of the beds. Mine is always bottom bunk closest to the toilet. It's a nocturnal thing.
