Hello from Seattle Dear Cori and Emmanuel,
We met you last summer in Seattle at Michael and Kyle's gathering. Thank you for allowing us to follow along with you on your travels. Your trip is exciting and amazing. Dave and I have talked about what an amazing gift you are giving to your children and how it will impact their futures. Sky is the limit. You are amazing parents. We are going to follow in your footsteps. We have decided that we need a sabbatical from our work and are going to go traveling. We have applied for short term jobs in Antarctica and are hoping to find out if we have been hired by the end of the month. If we get the jobs we will work in Antarctica for 5 months and then travel to New Zealand, Australia, parts of the South Pacific and parts of Asia. If we don't get the jobs we are planning to go travel anyway. It is time to see more of the world. We enjoy your blog - you are wonderful writers and paint grand pictures!
merci pour les nouvelles je vois que vous avez passé un bon séjour en birmanieJe viens de recevoir les photos, nous pouvons ainsi vous suivre.Nous avons fait le bon choix le 6Nous vous embrassons très fort.
Sounds Like You're Having Fun! Dear Yohan and family,
We figured out the cell phone thing - it should take like 3 years if all of their money was going to getting a cell phone! We wish we could be with you - it all sounds so interesting! You must like the new game you learned - you will have to teach us all when you get back. We can't wait to play it with you and to play soccer with you again. We can't believe you got up that early to see a soccer match. Were there really that many pagodas and Buddhas....that's amazing! We miss you A LOT and wish you well. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.

Myanmar We do forget that the rest of the world is not as fortunate as us. I bet the kids were humbled by this and hopefully will carry that with them forever. You sound so wonderful and I am so glad everyone is doing well. I love the pics and no one looks exhausted. Continue on and hope to hear from you soon. Be safe, Love Kim
AHHHHHH la Birmanie :-) Quel pays extraordinaire! Quand nous y etions, on savait que 15 jours c'etait pas assez alors lorsqu'on regarde vos photos, on est pret a y retourner demain, enfin apres demain. Bon voyage
It is so great to see pictures of you all smiling and well! What an experience for you all, but to see the kids meeting the children they are meeting is a total symbol of hope for the future - thank you for that. I saw a couple friends who wanted to be on your blog - Kendra and Pat O. I went ahead and added them. Keep writing! Love, Claudia
Great update! I'm almost ashamed to say that we just got back from Las Vegas, it seems so "non-interesting" compared to what you are experiencing! Yohan, I want to see that cave with 8,000 buddhas too! You'll tell me all about it next time we see each other. Hugs, Francesca and family

Incredible Thanks for the great diescription of Myanmar. We can actually picture what it is like even without photos. Fun to hear that Yohan is making friends through sport - that's what it should be about! We are missing you alot and can't wait for August. Safe and exciting journeys to come . . . Hello from Seattle Cori and Emmanuel,
We met you last year at Kyle and Michael's gathering in their Seattle home. We have been waiting since that time to hear of your travels. We are truly enjoying your blog, thank you for taking the time to include everyone in your world. Your group continues to look happy- a true sign of great explorers. Dave and I are busy planning an adventure of our own. Our last day of work is in late July. We will have some time off in the states before we embark on our journey. We have applied for jobs with Raytheon Polar Services in Antarctica. We sure hear something by the end of this month. If we get the jobs we will be working in Antarctica for 5 months. After our jobs are completed we will travel New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Bali and parts of Asia. If we don't get the jobs we go traveling anyway. We are ready for a sabbatical. Thank you again for taking the time to blog. Do you have your lap top with you ? Or just using the computers in internet cafe's? We hope to learn from your experiences.
You have a gift for bringing us TO you! Thank you for this! We're settling down from birthday marathon week, crescendoing today - checking mail before bedtime and seeing "yes, tonight is the night"... that we hear from you was perfect. We're really enjoying following your trails. hugs and love to you all!/G,S,B,F + G
Hi all, I did respond to the e-mail sent to us-don't know if you will be able to get that one or not. But we are fine-WONDERFUL TO READ your most recent adventures. Yohan, you can get back to Seattle and start a whole new sport with your friends-Fun!
Ah ! Vous nous faites rever ! Profitez-en bien avant de retrouver les sapins, les lacs .... et la pluie. Gros Bisous a vous 4 de nous 4.

After living in Seattle Washington for 11 years, we have decided to pack up our bags and leave for new horizons, at least for the year. Our choice, Paris!! This was appealing for us because we will be able to return to Seattle with a direct flight if needed, we are close to family in the south of France and we are also very central in Europe which allows us to travel to England, Holland and Belgium with ease. This is also a prime time in the kid's lives to try out a new school without them hating us for the rest of their lives! After years of education at the French/American school, we are goi... full info
