SOOOOO COOOOOL Hi guys,
Wow South Africa looks incredible. It's certainly going on my "must see" list. I can't beleive you'll be back "home" soon. I can't wait to see you all again. So many life altering changes have been happening in our lives as well and we can't wait to share them with you. Have a great time in Egypt and say hello to all our mutual friends and family in France when you get there.
Lots of gros bisous,
Lyne
Wow - how impressive!! It's always so good to read about your travels, and particularly this one about Africa. Sounds wonderful, particularly with the family together, experiencing it all at the same time.
As you probably know by now, we're moving. The sale of the house should close on August 1st. We're very excited about moving closer to the kids and grandkids, but a little sad to leave our special retreat here.
Take care, and I'll write when I can. Just too many lists with too many things to do on them right now!
Luv and hugs,
Kathy and Lee
Wow!! What great photos of your journey!! Cori and Emmanuel - they are truly fantastic! Again - happy birthday to Yohan, and best wishes to you all. Looking forward to seeing you upon your return!
Hello Dear Yohan,
I hope you had a great birthday and July 4th! Thanks for the postcard you sent me. How was Vanessa's school? The way you described it it sounded like you had fun there. We just went on vacation to Oregon. It was fun. Now I am going to Lake Chelan with a friend for this week. I miss you. Your Friend, Connor
Tu as vraiment beaucoup de chance! Tu me manques, a bientot !
greetings from Seattle Hello guys...It looks as if all is going very well on the incredible voyage around the world. It feels like you've been gone a long time already. I am so amazed at how much you've seen and done and experienced. We always enjoy pouring over the photos (it gives us a nice taste of what we're missing) and motivates us to plan our own future adventures. We are doing well in Seattle, working on adoption paperwork, hiking (discovered Mt. St. Helens last weekend, so incredible), sailing (Serge indulged in a 30 foot Catalina that we have docked at Shilshole). She's old but fun and she looks a lot like Rondo (can't wait to take everyone sailing when you return). Our house in Tampa is sold (almost), closing is scheduled for July 2nd. We have started our house search here but it's not easy. Any advice you have on neighborhoods would be welcome. We miss you and anticipate your return. Have tons of continued fun. Gros gros bisous.

I wish I were there! Hi Cori, Emmanuel, Yohan, and Tatiana:
Wow - sounds like you have found paradise! I loved the pictures, and your description of this amazing place! Needless to say, I wish I were there with you! I hope all remains well with all of you as you journey on in your adventures. Keep the great blogs coming - we love to hear about your travels!
All is well with us. The boys finished school yesterday and I must say that it is a relief to be done for the summer. It is so good to wake up with no schedule today - we'll see how I feel in a week or two.
We are going up to Roslyn over the next two weeks, then we have our kayak trips, and we've scheduled a trip to Hawaii in August! We leave 8/14 and return 8/24 so I think we'll miss your return - but we'll be back in time to have some fun before school starts again.
No big news here - just finishing school and getting set for summer. We missed you at book club last night, Cori. We read Broken for You - I have the book on cd if you want to borrow it when you get home - it was a good one.
Thanks for the great blogs - I am looking forward to the next one! Until then, take care and safe journies! Love, P
Bonjour! Hi Cori! Your trip continues to sound amazing! The pictures are awesome and I love following your adventures via the internet. All is well in Seattle, though we're sorry you guys won't be in town for the 40th birthday party Michele and I are throwing for ourselves at Heidi's house on July 28th. We will raise a glass in your honor! A word of caution: beware of foreign massages!!! You never know when someone may slip you a "scissor" move. Talk to you later. Cheers!
Sandra and Cie.
Great stories! Wow, what fun. What a great experience, stories and pictures. I am so envious, sitting here in my office working away day after day after day. :)

Once out of th South African zoo, you'll probably feel like at home, when reaching Egypt, as Europe inherited of the Egyptian culture.
I think you'll be glad to reach TOULON, where all of you are anxiously expected.
Might see you à Saint Maurice early August?
Love and kisses
Perrine et Yves
Hello from Shoreline Thank you for the continued updates! We've missed hearing from you but knew that you were visiting with family so know how that can be. You all look great, though are missed. Theo asked to see Yohan the other day and is looking forward to seeing him on your return. You'll have to tell me your routine - you must have found one... How do you wash your clothes? Do you still have the same ones as when you left, or have some worn out? Cori, how can you visit all those lovely markets, with their stunning textiles and not bring them back home? Are you sending things back to Cori at the house? The World Cup is starting here (among other places, I'm sure) are you keeping up? And how is the morale? Are the kids still as excited to see all these exotic lands? It must be great to see family and friends on your travels. I wish you lots of fun and more adventure as you discover the world first-hand!
End of the School Year Dear Yohan,
It is now the day after the last day of school and I am here on campus for meetings. I am so sorry that I didn't get a chance to show your latest blog to the class so we could all post a message together before we got out yesterday. As you probably already know, it was total chaos! Well, not really, but there was a lot going on - it was hectic. Since getting back from our trip to Orcas Island there has been a lot to just wrap up. We were present for the ceremony welcoming the first nonstop Air France flight from Paris to Seattle and got to sing for the Consul General of France and Governor Christine Gregoire. Madame McGiffin even came with us. We've watched videos that Stephane shot of our Orcas trip and the airport field trip. We also watched a slide show that I put together of our Orcas trip and other things from the school year, like the play you did. A copy of it is waiting for you here. Of course, the class performed wonderfully at the end-of-the-year Spectacle...so many things...
We've missed you, Yohan, and look forward to your return. When you do return, I hope you'll tell me all about what you liked best about all you've seen, tasted, smelled, touched, especially the interesting foods! You are so lucky that you get to see so much of the world, and at such a young age. Take care and safe travels, Christina
P.S. Do you remember Sophie from last year? She taught 4th grade with Beatrice and me and also music to your class...did you get a chance to look her up, because she lives on Reunion?

Hello Hi Yohan,
I hope you are still having a great time! Thank you very much for the phone call. Too bad I wasn't home. My mom and dad said I could call you back, but we weren't sure how to reach you. Tomorrow is the last day of school. I hope you have a great birthday wherever you will be! My brothers say hi to you too! I miss you! I hope we will be in the same class next year!
Your friend,
Connor
After living in Seattle Washington for 11 years, we have decided to pack up our bags and leave for new horizons, at least for the year. Our choice, Paris!! This was appealing for us because we will be able to return to Seattle with a direct flight if needed, we are close to family in the south of France and we are also very central in Europe which allows us to travel to England, Holland and Belgium with ease. This is also a prime time in the kid's lives to try out a new school without them hating us for the rest of their lives! After years of education at the French/American school, we are goi... full info
