The Memories
Your traipsing around Rhonda really reminds me of our time we spent in Arcos de Frontera. Very similar indeed. I remember the very narrow streets that we had to navigate until we parked and walked to our hotel. Many times we were in smaller towns that appeared ghostly as all doors were shut and no one was about during the siesta. We too noticed that smoking was very prevalent. The other nasty we found was in the old wall cities that dog doo was abundant. Thanks for allowing our vicariousness! Safe travels Alan

Travel
Taking the fine weather with you is a great choice. It's amazing the things that arrive with us and we didn't even know we packed them.. And no extra luggage fee. :) Staying overnight in Dubai is really good on the long haul trips. Have fun as your personal new year unfolds. :) :)
