We all get screwed up when we have to deal with the college clerks. Every time we go there, we have to play “Office Office” Can’t say much about other trades.. but when I have to deal with the one allotted to CSE its always like: First day One can never find the clerk on the first day of need itself The day I finally find him Me: Sir I need these documents for my bank loan Clerk: the fee structure isn’t finalized yet, come after a few days. Me: Ok After a few days Me: Sir, I need those documents Clerk: I told you, the fee structure isn’t finalized After few more days I see the fee structure being displayed on the notice board. Clerk is absent for the whole week After few days when ... read more

“Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being “in love” which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found ... read more

It rained heavily today, the parking space got filled with water, and I was supposed to move the bike outside. As I entered the water, dragging my feet towards my bike, I decided to go for a ride. My neighbors watched me, driving away my motorcycle in such a freakish weather. The electricity was cut off, water droplets were entering my eye, and I couldn’t see clearly. Still I managed to speed up on straight roads. I was listening to my favorite songs on my i-pod, which helped in pumping my adrenaline. Soon I started jumping my bike on the speed beakers. My bike skidded many times at the turns or whenever a fallen tree came in front of me. I covered almost all the lanes of my township and kept rushing my bike for about ... read more

Leave early in the morning as soon as the sun breaks. Drive slow at the start, save your adrenaline for the fast one at the end. Feed some soothing songs in some music player, share the earphones with your date. Wear the helmet only if you have arranged one for your date as well, otherwise you may end up striking her head into your helmet every time you apply brakes. Always choose the finished roads, even if the distance to be traveled across increases. Study your path well before leaving and arrange some eye gears if required for that terrain. Slow down or take small breaks when some scenic beauty arrives. Leave the handle and ask her to handle the bike. (Note: Do so, only if you have good balancing skills) While speeding, ask her to ... read more

We left for Gwalior on morning of 28th may. Reached there at around 4pm. After meeting the relatives, we went to the hotel, where I took a long nap. In the evening we left for the marriage and by the time we reached there, the “barat” had already left the house. I joined my relatives in the dance. There were two of my cousins along with 2 nephews and one niece. We all belonged to the same age group. I and Akshat Bhaiya, danced madly and continued dancing even after reaching the place for marriage. We were all sweat and ran for water. After the “Jaymala” I realized that I am going to get bore here. Another cousin of mine (Shekhoo) came up with an idea of going for a movie. The plan involved my Dad, ... read more

I was suppose to leave for Aligarh (UP) on 22nd May but I couldn’t do that. At last I left on the evening of 25th May. It was my Uncle’s (Chacha’s) marriage on 27th and I was suppose to help in the preparations. I took the bus from dadri and reached there by 10:30pm. As I was chatting with my aunts (buas) while I was in the bus, when I reached home, they were already standing outside the house waiting for me. This hospitality was more than enough for me. After meeting all the people in the house, I talked with my favorite chacha (Megesh) and we discussed our plans for the next day. There came a situation when my favorite chacha was calling me on one side and my favorite bua (Neenu) on the other. ... read more
