You make me laugh out loud! I'm so glad you two are having this experience. I love your pictures and captions. You learned much here in your quest for the wild boar. I must say I feel sorry for Eric to have to learn that some maps are not accurate. Why would someone do that? Much love from Mom.
thanks Thanks Matt. You didn't have to flatter/compliment me. But since you did, I will gladly take it ;) lol. Thanks so much again for bringing me that wine. It looks like you guys had fun and the pictures are priceless. Eric should put the one w/ the frame in a memory book or something. It's kind of a special moment.
Matt,
It sure looks like you fellows are having the time of your life...the fox and the pennywhistle is one of my favorite childhood pieces.
Hunting season (bows) is on us, as well as bird season. The rut is on and men's necks are growing proportionately--something I am sure you understand.
Take care, continue having fun, and we'll see you in December?

Boars rock From a vegan point of view, I think its great that only spears are allowed to hunt the boars. Otherwise, is there a lot of goring going on? Maybe you can lure some other exchange student out to the boar woods with you and ask him or her to get a really close picture of the boar, and perhaps increase the chances of you seeing the boar gore a human. I am sure it happens all the time, but getting some video of this would be supreme.
Ra-Ra Rasputin! YESSSSSSS! our song!!!! Now it's stuck in my head!!! Ra-Ra Rasputin, lover of the russian queen! I'm glad you're having an amazing time!
Wow I am so jealous. I am so glad you set this up and everyone can follow your journey. When Joe and I finally set up a vacation you will have to help us plan it. Love you.
Anne
I want to see the rock Did you happen to take any pictures of the rock in the road that was split by the Mary idol. Why would there be a big rock in the middle of the road anyway? Did the heathens put it there? If so, did they use a lever or a pully system? These questions must be answered. Go heathens.
Oh yes, and who is St. Lambrecht and how far away is the monastery, if it still exists. I will have to agree with your Aunt. You look like you are having way to much fun. I want to see pictures of study carols and fingers swollen from to much writing.
Go Matt, Go I am really enjoying your tour. But I thought you were supposed to be going to school. This looks like too much fun to be school. I hope you and Eric enjoy the semister as much as you enjoyed Erlaufsee. Keep the pictures coming.
Are you really there? Please have Eric hold the camera and take some pix of you at your next stop. I know there will be plenty of opportunities before you move on. As you make new friends, take pix with them, too. You must keep your audience happy!! A.Kandi
le merde Hey guys. You rock. Its too bad the bike place was closed. I suggest you go situtationist and liberate some then give them to some orphans when you leave.
The medieval wall is cool, but whats with the fence. Heck, in China they let you poop on the wall. French are so stuck up about their walls. Anyway, your pictures are great. Keep sending them.
How about some Dutch girls? Well Mark Schneider, there aren't too many Danish girls outside Denmark, so that would also go for The Netherlands (...) However, I know Matt took some great pictures of gorgeous Dutch girls ;-)
Matt, I hope you're having a great time, make sure you stop by our place again soon. We loved having you and Eric stay with us, and there is so much more to see around Zaandam and Amsterdam. Have fun! XoXo
Thanks! It's SO nice to see your faces in addition to the great pictures and explanations. You were smart to stay for Mass at Notre Dame. That's the perfect way to get a real sense of time and of all the history that place has seen. The catacombs are too creepy for me but I'm thrilled to see the pictures. I would have just gone down, taken a couple of pictures and come right up. What a place for foul play! I'm looking forward to pictures from Vienna: where you live, where you study, what your faces look like in Vienna...............
Well, There's not much to know about me. I am a student of Classics and History in the USA, and I am taking a year to study in Europe with my friend, Eric. With any luck, he will post on here. With any luck, I will occasionally post on here. Ha!... full info
