The future of orangutans I have heard that the palm oil plantations are the enemy of the orangutan. I hope that they are being protected so that generations to come can also have this lovely experience!
Dreams to reality? I can imagine how awesome it was for you to finally see in person the wild you grew up only hearing stories of. You story teller father must be happy for you as well.
Beautiful Story What a lovely post! I absolutely loved reading your story and joining you on this lifelong journey. Very engaging and beautifully written :)
Borneo of Yore It is great to know that you were able to realize your childhood fantasy of visiting Borneo. I admire your spirit and tenacity, as well as the determination to experience Borneo as you had always imagined it, wild and untamed. Dr. Galdikas sounds like an impressive person, and we all should be very thankful to such selfless individuals for preserving out natural wealth.
Lovely engaging story I love how you captured my attention straight away and kept it throughout your post. I am so pleased your childhood dream came true and it was everything you hoped. Lovely pictures and an engaging story. Thank you
I'm following! Bob, thanks for following! I will keep on posting every week as I keep writing. Indeed, it has been a fun where I loved the landscape of the wilderness of Africa! I am now hooked to Africa....
Work until the back log is gone Congratulations on the book but we bloggers want to know what you've been up to. Sounds like a fantastic trip even without luggage. Love the Sahara photos. Good getting something off the bucket list.
Work until the back log is gone Hi MJ, It is sooooooo good to hear from you after such a long time. I missed you all. Yes, I deserve the punishment as the title suggests. Promise, I will work hard on the blogs now...plan to post one every week. Yes, it was a fantastic trip indeed. Hope I will be able to paint the trip well so that everyone can enjoy! And thank you so much for wishing me well for the book.
Wow! You are so right, Karen!. With Hardev and John, it was the perfect company. Thank you for liking the images. I have great images for the future posts. Actually, National Geography was filming the same shot I was taking.

I have lived in Canada for many years now, but my love for nature and the outdoors is everlasting. Travelling and photography are my passions.
