I cant imagine 4500 people being on the vessel , its huge , the photos do however help you comprehend ,, especially the food , I have not seen so much food ever and it all looks delicious ,

Day 11
Nice relaxing day with George enjoying the sun and Theresa introducing herself to both staff and guests. Fruit carvings looks lovely as does the towel elephant. Lady seems to look pleased with your choices for her present.

Home looks good after a long time away, Farmacia, Guardia Civil, all familiar to we who call Spain home. Remember the wishywashy girls on the cruise, they so a good job. Sorry to hear Theresa has come down with an infection too, so hope you nipped it in the bud.

Poor George, he sounds to be in a hell of a state, so unlucky when this is such a wonderful holiday. Maybe as well it's during sea days, so not missing too much. Sounds as if you were well looked after.

USA >> UK time lag variations.
Eastern Standard Time is usually 5 hours behind UK time. However, the US put their clocks forward for summer two weeks before the UK does. For there to have been only be fours hours time difference you must have been in the US during the two weeks they go forward before the UK. Took me a moment to work that out. ? It sounding like an awfully long day travelling to Florida. I think when we go we will fly into New York first, then wander south after a day or two. But arriving during the shorter time lag is a good way of saving an hour. Very clever idea!

KFC Fix, what a notion.
We've stayed at the Ibis, nice place for an overnight and the shuttle bus is great. I love the idea of a KFC fix, I used to have it till KFC got put on my banned list. Now my fix is McDonalds fries.

Not good that you had a disturbed night but hopefully tonight you will be hearing only the lapping of the waves on the calm ocean. Stroke of luck getting the last ticker available for the posh beach club. The liner looks nice I am sure you are going to make the most of your time with the odd alcoholic beverage along the way. Nice one that they let you check in early shame about the diner only opening during the day, but tomorrow's will be more successful. McDonald's looks different to the milkshakes in the uk. Hope there are no more rainy days but I shall have to read on to know.

Happy Birthday Theresa good day out for the birthday girl.Wow free chocolate yummie. The believe it or not museum looked really interesting that coffe filter dress was stunning and the Licorice canvas looked good in fact all pictures were good and interesting. Not so sure about your guide looked a little miserable. Chinese food mmmmmm

Day 10
The Epic looks, and sounds fantastic, love the photos. The ice cream is a Wow, I bet George was in his element, I love this sort of ice cream too. The Posh Beach Club looks very nice. Always nice on the first day to get settled into your cabin and to explore the ship.

Epic is so big, they do small tours around the ship on embarkation to find all the hidden gems - Elsewhere in the blog, there is a picture of the demon ice cream machine (there are eight on board) - They do classes how to pour one professionally - Go into your online booking to pre-arrange events.

Wacky car, like that. Glad you have only had a small day shopping I am exhausted and I have not move from my sette. Glad you enjoyed your evening meal even though it was on the pricy side. You are definitely filling every minutes of your holiday and sounds like you are having a good time.

We are George & Theresa. We took early retirement at the end of 2010 and intended to spend an extended time travelling. First we visited our favourite location of Tenerife where we intended on staying for three or four months and possibly buying a property ready for our finally settling down. We have enjoyed our time here in Tenerife so much we have bought a property and have decided to change our travelling plans.
