Loved the pictures you posted of your travels
The pictures you posted are great in their diversity. I also enjoyed how you wrote about your trip and spoke bout the trails you found and traveled. Being so near to a national park is amazing. Your trip sounded like a great nature adventure. I am making a bucket list of places I hope to got to in the near future and New Brunswick is now on my list of places to go. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I am so fascinated by the migration of MB
I am so fascinated by the migration of the Monarch Butterflies. I have twice visited the Monarch Butterfly Nature Reserve in Mexico. First I went on my own, because I really wanted to see them. Then a few years later I brought my mother along on a trip to Mexico and we went there together because she also wanted to see them. I don't think I can link to the blog entries I wrote then but if you want to see them they are dated 2009-12-23 and 2018-12-27. /Ake

Belize some years before I was there
Some glitch in cyperspace sent me a message that you had posted this now recently. But it looks like you made the trip, and posted the blog, eight years ago or so. Anyway, I like Belize and wanted to know your feelings and read your story. It brought back some nice memories. Emma visited Caye Caulker several years before we started this blog (some time before 2006). She said it was a very laid back place then careting only for backpackers. When I was there in 2015 it felt like they were in the process of trying to attract more group travellers and those who used to be backpackers and like that kind of travelling but are a bit older and can afford decent hotel rooms now. How was your feeling in 2012? /Ake

On the to-do list
Yes, Mammoth Cave is on the list of places we want to go to. Maybe we'll go to the States in 2023. With a bit of luck we'll go there then. /Ake

Loving blog on Rincon de la Vieja. I went to the Rincón de la Vieja (The Old Lady's Corner) National Park. Rincón de la Vieja is the name of an active Costa Rican volcano and this park protects the volcano, neighboring volcanoes and the watershed that stems from their slopes. That watershed is significant and includes 32 rivers and 16 seasonal streams which combined provide most of the water for the entire province of Guanacaste to the west.

Chemicals mixing in river?
What's this about the chemicals mixing in the river to form the color? Do you mean that people put dyes in the river? I hope not!
