That Emotional Roller Coaster Ride Called Volunteering

I put everything on hold to serve as a volunteer in Ethiopia with VSO.

It's one of those things-I-must-do-while-young. Chance to share my skills & change lives (hopefully; this is VSO's tagline, by the way), get to know a country and her people deeper, and of course, travel. 😊

What more can I ask for?

Ah, I know...funds. 😊 (I'm just a poor volunteer now!)

I used to believe I could find the cure for cancer. And diabetes. And win a Nobel prize for it. Then I went out of the hospital. Then I discovered the road. And enjoyed it. Now, (almost) everything I do, I do to get me to travel. Who knows, I still might. But currently, I am enjoying what I'm doing. So it would most likely take a while.
