welcome home its been great fun following your journey. Well done - what memories you will have and you actually did it, unlike so many of us who never quite get around to doing it!
8 weeks - how time flies! Can't believe you have been away 8 weeks. Have been watching and reading with interest.. now wondering how you will reacclimatise to normal life? Perhaps you won't!?
The end! Thank you for all your blogs - which must only be a quarter of the story, will look forward to seeing the photos and hearing it all. When does the book come out? Hope you all have a good trip home and trust me we do not want to hear how cold and wet it is for all of you stepping off the plane in Glasgow! (Argylle ferries cancelled all Gourock to Dunoon ferries today due to high winds). Speak soon sis!
It's a tough life but....! The clocks have gone back, the hail is the size of golfballs and you are complaining about the flies! Bless - I bet that was just added to make the rest of us feel better, trust me it would be no hardship to swop places!
In to Africa am exhausted just reading your latest blog! Yes, I am thinking of BBQ as I sit inside on a dreary November afternoon - too cold and wet to venture out.
look forward to photos

Prison Must be hell on board with 16 days of self-imposed prison life but at least you have had the opportuity for regular and extreme exercise being ex-dumfers in waht I'm assuming is a state of the art gym.
Clothes must be falling of you.
Green with Envy Hi Girls,
What a wonderful trip ! You're obviously having the time of your lives! I've always wanted to see Bali, it sounds so exotic and S.A. still to come! When will the book be coming out! It will need to include a wine appendix.
Ann, it was Moira's wedding yesterday at Alloway Kirk and after at Brig O' Doon. It all went well and the sun did shine . Fraser and Carol McNaughton were there from Orkney and were asking for you - thought your Gap year was a brilliant idea.
Looking forward to reading your blog from S.A.- they have some lovely wines.

Medicinal properties of cruise ship gin Hi All, given gin features a lot in your Granniegapyear, I had a wee read up on it and it's a cracking' choice you've made there. Originally used for medicinal purposes with some of the better makes not liable to give you a hangover if drunk in moderation... not necessarily applicable in this case. See... it's not just anti-freeze.... it serves a purpose. Glad you loved the Barrier and survived Darwin..... not many do! Linda
Becalmed! Looks like you're having a bit of peace in your hectic schedule - have been following with interest. And more than a little envy. Sounds 'Absolutely Fabulous'! x
Life on the ocean wave! Hope all is still going well. a tad surprised to note the lateness in the day of the 6 o'clock club. However assumed that was the 2nd shift! Enjoy xx
