Golden Girls learning a bit do SA history
Second last day before homeward bound and it is raining so the reclimatisation programme has begun! Visited Liliesleaf today which is where the African Freedom movement was born with Nelson Mandela, Walter Susula and others planning the action against apartheid. It is also where in 1963 the farm was raided by the police and Mandela and twelve others were put on trial and ended up in prison. Mandela was sent to Robben Island off Cape Town which we also saw when we were there. Last supper tonight where there will be appropriately 12 of us. More experiences planned for our last day tomorrow with walk, brewery visit and lunch before heading off for flight home. Can't believe that is 8 weeks done!

Interesting story about company set up as cover for getting arms to the African Freedom movement. Tourists never knew about the hidden compartments.
