Well folks i arrived in Thailand on 26th November from Laos. I spent 3 nights in Chaing Rai which is in the north east. Its a nice place, not too big and pretty easy to navigate around. I had some fantastic street food here the first night - chicken, sushi & spring rolls! My stomach has truly adjusted to Asian cusine and i've found out that the best and cheapest food is from the street vendors. On Thursday i met up with Theresa, an American who i met in Cambodia and she's teaching English in a university in Chaing Rai. She and her friend Rachel prepared a great thanksgiving dinner of mashed potato, chicken, stuffing, gravy, green beans and beef, bread, apple and cranberrry pie, ice-cream and chocolate chip cookies.
