Poor dogs Hilarious encounter you had there. Australia truly is the land of schnitzel.
Where was this place located? I'm looking for a wash n dry myself (full service) and I can't seem to find one anywhere. Gracias!
You are testing my memory If you wander down Via Laietana from Pl Catalunya towards the Palau de Musica & take a left, wander around there & you should find it...it's not too far away ..good luck!
Camden Market has a complete new look! I remember Camden market back in the 80's. It was a mecca for anything slightly on the B side of life. Original, vintage, eclectic ... London Camden Market survives due to this reputation but The Camden market is no longer the same. Completely refurbished in a nice way but extremely commercial oriented, it is cleverly designed to host a lot more shops. Vintage clothing is making a come back but so are the mass, chain produced garnments sold from one stall to the next.
It is still a must see in London!

Good to Hear Yes there are too many hidden costs with RyanAir, so stay away. If you have time (and I haven't done a lot of research) perhaps you could take a ferry across to Italy from Spain, otherwise try a different airline!
Ryanair to Sardegna Thank you for this post. I am planning to fly from Spain to Sardegna next September and have been considering Ryanair - I think I will also consider other options based on this information.
Swaying with swayze No way was he a great actor but I am currently seeing his last TV serial The Beast and adds something to the unorthodox FBI agent he plays something part of the character that seeps into the whole show dark (more crime you solve the more there is) and the need to act and act appropriate to the urgency of the situation. Which might explain why he got the role actual life situation but anying I never been a Swayse fan but he is very good here.
Take care and nice to hear from you and your travels
hi chris Hi Chris
I'm reading your blog entires in reverse order so I'm still in Spain. The food looks fabulous! Sounds like you have loads of things to do.
Love from Amanda
Try asking for "cazuelas" -"cazuelas de barro"- instead (Pronounced "kathooehlas"). I think you can find them at any supermarket or potery shop or even in chinese cheap 'all 1 euro' shops.
Ballybunion - I'm homesick.... Hi Chris
Looks like you are having the most awesome time. I'm so jealous of all your trip, but especially seeing photos of Ballybunion where I spent so many summers as a child. Thank you so much for sharing as it brings back so many amazing memories of growing up.
Look forward to hearing more when you're back.

Guten tag What an artisan of words Mr Jack. What is the story with a prawn curry in Germany. What about a bot of cabbage?
Weather looks like it is good and you are certainly the little tourist. Sounds like you are having a great time
where is the football All this culture and food. Where is the football Chris.
Hertha BSC Berlin v Brøndby IF @ Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn Sportpar - Berlin on 27/08
By the way goals are great on thursdays.
Yum yum yum Lovely to hear all your news Chris. Sounds like you're having a wonderful time, doing heaps and having fun - swing dancing eh? V impressive. And isn't the Tate Modern fabulous - all those familiar images that you normally only see in books. And did you feel the vibe in the Rothko Room?! The Borough Mkts are wonderful - I was there a couple of years ago and loved the Spanish marinated garlic cloves, the abundant chocolate store and the scary fish stall. I also ate the best cheddar I've ever eaten in my entire life from Neal's Yard Dairy. I'd never considered England a cheese destination but wasn't I wrong. Wish I was there enjoying all the sites, sights, sounds and tastes! Keep your news flowing - along with the food and wine of course! Lucy.
Lovely time Hey CJ,
great to hear from you and that you are having a wonderful time. Did you have a hangover after all that beer tasting? You are not missing much here apart from lovely weather, and at last the weekend is approaching. Yippee.
Almost the first week of your trip gone, how time flies. You may well be in Berlin by the time you get this comment so I hope the trip has been great with many more stories to come. Great photo's!
I look forward to hearing about your travels and will catch up again soon

La Corridas en Valencia I would like to firstly apologise for suggesting that Valencia does not have a great tradition of bullfighting. I also thank a reader of my blog Jose for correcting me. I hope I will return to visit Valencia soon and attend a corrida to see for myself. Gracias Jose!
"There is not a great tradtion of bullfighting in Valencia yet the Plaza del Toro is in a very prominent location. " WRONG
Historicaly Valencia is one of the regions in spain with a great tradition of corridas de toros! And "La Feria de Julio" y "Las Fallas" has is his schedule two of the more important festivals of corridas de toros. :)
Sorry for my bad english ;)
