Aesop, Bananas and Cream Well, I'm sorry that Cieran was unable to find a visa-friendly opportunity to stay in Australia, and I expect that swapping the banana tree in the garden for buying bananas in the market in Hoxton will take some getting used to. However, the fact that he has a media job working for Aesop who make special face creams for ladies of my age, has given me new hope. Also, I might get to have a pint with him and his girlfriend when I go out towards that area. The sun also shines in England.
Sebs Birthday Happy Birthday Seb - have a cool tinny on us.
Good wishes as always to all the gang
Tony, Jane, Adam and Harry
PS Adam watches Tristans MMA fights on line and enjoys them. He had his first competition yesterday for Hull against York - lost on a decision (he couldn't work out - said he throw him all over in the 1st and third rounds - refs always right even when he's wrong!)
Alex & Anne Thank you for sharing the lovely pictures of your wedding with us. It must have been a wonderful day. Congratulations and all the best for the future. Mario & Gabriela
So sorry I am so, so sorry about all the flooding and had not thought for a moment that you were in the midst of this crisis.
Thank you for sharing this information with me - and I just hope that there is not a repeat of this disaster for others.
No, I cannot envisage flooding the size of France and Germany combined - it is utterly mind-boggling.
All the very, very best - lots of love,
Debbie

Happy future and best regards to Kevin, Hilary and the rest - hope things have dried out down there, Brisbane is certainly off the news here but Melbourne is now starting to raise its profile.

Love the photos! Sorry we didn't catch up over the weekend. M&D decided not to come up (third weekend in a row!). So we went down to them and spent the day eating ,chatting and laughing with Issy entertaining us all. Thanks once again for the lovely flowers and words. Jon x
Jealous All looks lovely, especially the trips inland. We never headed West from Brisbane. It looks rather nice.
The last one "A Rocky Peninsula" looks like Snapper Rocks on the edge of Rainbow Beach where the hold the Quiksilver Pro. I am so very jealous, I really do love it there. I am glad you are making trips out at the weekends and exploring a bit. I regret having not made more our the opportunity.

It is now four years since we arrived in Australia and it continues to feel like we are on a very long holiday! Since moving over here we have opened doors to new friendships, career moves, family visits and new opportunities it has been a roller coaster of a journey but one we embrace and work towards making it even more successful.
We have also managed to visit the UK on a number of visits to see family and friends and have also loved having visitors who have stayed with us whilst holidaying here and sharing with them some of the many lovely places we have discovered in and around Brisbane... full info
