Day one of my travel caught train from Frankston, a journey in itself then airport bus out to Tullamarine. I caught up with Cathy for a drink, then on too the mostly empty flight. As I have my first cold in two years having a row of four seats to stretch out was a godsend. I was sitting across from a lady who used to work for British Airways for 30 years. She lives in the Channel Islands and has a penthouse in Pattya, an interesting lady! On arrival I met Sue at the hotel in downtown Bangkok.
