raining in Brisbane(still) we are in competition ith the weather here with you and the rain keeps falling. Nothing like a bbq in the rain, and in peak summer!!Think the pictures are brilliant and we are thrilled to see you are managing to experience so much. Have just sat down with anne marie and mark and read all your messages and has inspired a conversation to don our back packs and do similar. Atleast we can say we have beaten you into the Pacific and got a swim in before you did!! ha!ha! Off up the coast tomorrow to the sunshine coast for the weekend with anne marie and wim and ellen. Hope we will find the sun. Then down to Byron bay so we will beat you there too!!!!. Porters looking forward to your visiting them later in the year.
Wonderful life You two are obviously having a whale of a time. Glad you appreciate the sandwiches; I did consider writing a book entitled "Places where I have made sandwiches"! Happy travelling and see if you can earn any more board by lecture tour! Love Mum and Dad.
I remember Mexican Hat! We had a meal here on July 31st 1989, stopping in the hot dusty early evening at a strange little diner practically cut into the rock. Then onward through a dark gold and purple sunset and an electric storm, past the "Mexican Hat" eroded rock formation and staying at Pioneer House at Recapture Lodge, run by geologists. Thinking of you! Lots of love, Mum and Dad G.
ode to the weary ones I wish I could write an ode to you, but as i'm not entirely sure what one is i figure it could be quite tricky to write... your stories of days such as these fills me with memories of the days everything goes wrong, yet are somehow the most enjoyable...
