Glad you made it. Hi Andy, good to see you had a successful hike. It is a bit harder than one would think. There are some rugged portions for sure, and more up and down than you would think possible in MN. Maybe we'll run into you some other time. Tom, Julie and Heidi.
Cowboy TV Andy I wanted to thank you for your wonderful company and wish you one more "Happy Trails." I hope the rest of your adventure goes wonderfully!
Great to Meet Captain Blaze Just got back home tonight after 4 days and 44 miles of hiking the LSHT. Had a very nice trailside chat with Captain Blaze (Andy) as he was making his way to Egge Lake and Nels and I were heading towards Horseshoe Ridge for the night. Enjoy your "reconfigurement" Andy and good luck with the rest of your hike. It was great to meet you. Andy (Tom)

Go Captain Go! Hi Andy, it's great to hear that you're still doing well on the trail. Sorry to hear about the blister situation.
Really nice meeting you the other week!
Stay safe.

Keeping Up Well written accounts by the 'Ghost Writer'. Thanks for taking me on the virtual SHT experience this fall. I still hope to join Cpt "K" on a section. Enjoy the trek.........it's good for the mind too.
I created this blog to provide details of my 2015 through hike of the Superior Hiking Trail. The trip lasted 26 days including 19 days hiking (265 miles), 4 days on a BWCA canoe trip and 3 days off trail playing tourist in Cook Co.
I am attempting another SHT through hike in Sept 2017. Differences this year include a more focused trip without the canoe trip and scheduled days off trail. I will be hiking the entire trail including the Duluth section (310 Miles). ... full info
