Eight, nine or ten
It we are to be strict, I have visited eight US states - counting only those where I have both slept at least one night and done some sightseeing (Florida, California, Nevada, Iowa, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Maryland). But I want to throw in Puerto Rico as well. It is not a state though, it is an unincorporated territory. Also I would like to count Washington, D.C. even though I never slept there and even though it is no state. I look forward to read your stories from the US. /Ake

The Joys of Disney
Once one gets past the price tag you can enjoy yourself. Disney really does know how to bring the inner child back to life. You managed to do a lot in your short time. I can't believe it took an hour and twenty minutes on the bus. That is sinful. Oh well. It sounds like you enjoyed your day. Hopefully, you will come back for a longer stay.

Crazy lines and Bonehead bus drivers
Seasoned travels often arrive early.... sorry to hear about the long lines in London. Welcome to Sunny Florida. We Floridians think this is mild weather but yes someone from London would feel the heat and humidity. We rarely hit 40 but it can happen for short periods of time. The problem for most is the high humidity on those days. FYI in the hot summer months we routinely get a rain shower at 3pm which cools things off a bit. Twenty years ago we lived in Tampa but I din't know about the Holocaust museum. I'll check it out. Next time you come to Florida I will ensure you get to see a manatee. January is a good time to find them and I'll get you to a baseball game! OMG my heart was pounding when you talked about stopping the bus. I'm sorry you encountered an ugly American bus driver. Most of them are so friendly. I can't believe he was going to pass you by. I imagine we have most fast food and junk food than any country on earth. Merry Jo

Welcome to Florida!
We are glad to have you back in the U.S. America has so much diversity and so much to offer that I'm not surprised it is one of your favorite places to visit. I wonder if they would extend your current Visa if you wrote and asked. It seems like they should extend it two years because of COVID. I would ask. Tampa and nearby St. Pete have plenty to offer -- although the public transportation may hinder you getting around easily. I'm not sure. Ybor City is interesting as well as the Tampa waterfront. Plenty of museums, aquariums and Busch Gardens amusement park. Enjoy and we will see you soon.
