HII!!!! Hey Londo!!!! Just wanted to say hi and see how you all were doing...Gadi dropped me an email and said he had an awesome time in Egypt. I also wanted to ask, have you had or seen any of the types of beer bottles that we recycled this summer? For some reason that memory just popped into my head -and the great $8 that we got in reward - oh well, at least we got to score big on the FIJI water......love ya and take care- sarah
MORE BLOGS PLEASE... I am hoping I can persuade you to post more often.
I am in Austin, TX and have a friend on Oslo, Norway that posts to this site. Somehow I started reading your travel blogs and I really look forward to them. Your photos are fantastic and ya'lls experiences are awesome. So, if you think no one out there is listening, think again. Looking forward to more blogs!!
Cappadocia is freaking sweet, no? But also very easy to die in. They don't take as many safety precautions as we do in the states (e.g. roped off areas, railings, etc). My sister and I almost hiked off a cliff into a 80 foot slot canyon. It was pretty cool.
crumbling building Just to clarify one picture. The crumbling building is a result of a US Tommahawk Missile and not a case of neglect. Sometimes there were civilians inside (God rest their soul)
Wanderslut! -guy approaches king-
"Dude, listen, we should build a mosque."
"We don't have enough mosques? This is fucking Turkey."
"This one's special. It'll be really big."
"They're all big."
"It'll be big... and CAROLINA BLUE!!!"
"SWEET!!! Now, where are my pants?"
Your photos are amazing and it looks like you're having a ball.
A trick for street vendors: Carry around an empty wallet and whip it out if they stalk you. They're unlikely to bug you if they don't think you have currency on your person.
Around winter, a bunch of glorious fruits come to.. fruition. Ask someone for 'leecheys' 'guavas' and 'locquats [lok-wats]'.
Oh, oh - be sure to try some absinthe (by "try," I mean "guzzle". It's fantastic stuff, and the eastern european stuff is choice.
take care!

You sick f*#k 14 doner kebabs in 4 days? Traveling around the world is going to be a lot less cool if you die of coronary artery disease halfway through it.

Silly Londie, Serbs are for... (enter joke of poor taste) "my Serbian is a bit rusty and so the translation was lost."
I'm ashamed that you can't remember any Serbian even after we took those 3 years worth at the Branson school. Your parents will be pissed.
But seriously, well done on kicking ass in Europe, I wish I could be there, as London is great but I've seen enough and I'm ready to move on to new places. Hearing all your stories of meeting new folks and just straight chilling make me less anxious about hitting the road solo, aah! Well, I'll see you within the month man. Oh, I'm done for a good old fashion travel hazing, involving excessive liquor intake when we meet up. But we may be in an arab country where liquor is kindof outlawed, so we'll see....

Holy Moly! Wow, I am super impressed with your photographs and journal entries. I am so happy your experience is going so well. I miss you more than ever! Love, Jamie
As a recent college graduate I feel it is my responsiblity to travel before I am forced to get a job and join the "Real World." I don't think there is a better way to spend this time than to go on and adventure "Around the World" with one my best friends. I look forward to the adventures that lay ahead, and can't wait to see what I find out in endless abyss. I will miss you all. Feel free to leave me messages along the way. I plan to devote time to self reflection, contemplating my future plans, finally do some pleasure reading, and just chill out before I go back to the states and get se... full info
