That's pork roll or Lean pork paste, Pickleed welsh onion ( onion with salt ), and Square glutinous rice cake (filled with green bean paste and fat pork) . We call it Bánh chưng
On travelling alone... Yeah, I liked it but I didn't. The eating alone part was a bit awkward personally but the meeting other solo travellers part is just something you wouldn't get if you went with a bunch of friends. All in all, it's quite the experience to get the time alone and to think and reflect on your travels...

The kids can be REALLY persistent can't they. The thing though is that I always end up feeling sorry for them and end up buying the weirdest things ever!
Hope you're 'tougher' than I am on this one.
"you so fine" gotta love the kids....they do the same trick in India (tell you the capital of your state), but I never got any to tell me I was fine...so nice job hot stuff. haha

And what if you lived there your daily lives? My dear American and other tourists!
What would you do if you had to live in this city every single day? Work there for about 200 Euro (equals some 240 US dollars) a month? If you were passengers in those nice buses? If you had to pay your bills for all those stupid services? If you had to meet the pissed clerks and people everywhere, every day!
So, do come and have a beer,
But don't try to live here!
As a recent college graduate I feel it is my responsiblity to travel before I am forced to get a job and join the "Real World." I don't think there is a better way to spend this time than to go on and adventure "Around the World" with one my best friends. I look forward to the adventures that lay ahead, and can't wait to see what I find out in endless abyss. I will miss you all. Feel free to leave me messages along the way. I plan to devote time to self reflection, contemplating my future plans, finally do some pleasure reading, and just chill out before I go back to the states and get se... full info
