I'm not sure how could I've missed your blogs until now... I'll be eager to read more of them from now on and I'm glad I have a few still to read to catch up :)
great one;-) Thanks for the summary - very informative blog for those who want to visit this part of the world. We have never been there and always thought of Andamans as honeymoon/wedding destination but now we know there is still a place for us there:-)
happy travels,
B&T
Tourism Portal NICE BLOG!!! Thanks for sharing useful information about Touraeas and being one of best Tourism Website agree that this blog is very useful for the Tourism are Searching for best tourist Places , I would really like to come back again right here for likewise good articles or blog posts. Thanks for sharing...Tour places in India.
Sorry to read this I visited the Andaman Islands just after the 2004 Asia Tsunami. Was there five-weeks and we met only half-a-dozen tourists during that whole time. We got around the islands a fair bit, and it sure felt like paradise back then...adventurous into the bargain. Of course accommodation then was unnaturally cheap as we are able to procure very fancy rooms for backpacker prices. Sad to hear about the two-tier pricing on the ferries. I guess the increased numbers of tourists these days can be expected as it is a special place, and the price inflation a result of supply and demand. I had hoped to go back one-day, though reading this I may opt to keep my memories unsullied with the contemporary turn of events. Though on the other hand I'm sure most locals prefer wall-to-wall tourists than no-tourists, post-tsunami.
Tears in my eyes Hi guys, hope your well. I had tears in my eyes reading about your experience in Bagerhat, it sounded amazing and restorative. Take Care. Ex
A pity you didn't like the north-east. I guess it happens, and everybody experiences are different. I had a great time in the northeast myself, and that was when permits were still in full force! At least it is good news to hear that most of the permits have been abandoned by the Indian government, it means I can finally go to Manipur the only state I missed last time.
Wow Andy and Ali, all sounds amazing and glad to hear Om beach still as lovely as ever. Love the toilet photo -special mix between the French and normal toilet. See you very soon I hope. Loadsa love ALi xxxx
Good read! I really enjoyed this blog, especially the parts about Chennai. I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to that part of India a couple of years ago and had similar impressions as yourself. And your photos are beautiful!
I\'ve been reading your blog spontaneously since I \"ended up\" on your email list, I love it! But not until tonight (the time here is soon to be beer o\'clock, just have to finish work first) I notice myself in your blog, as \"an individual even more accident prone post-alcohol...\" I can comfort you with I haven\'t had an infection since then (that i know off), hasn\'t been sick one single day since then and I\'m still partying when I\'m not working saving lives and loving my own life. Sometime, as in always, I wake up with odd bruising and strange marks probably from dancing on a bartable or miss computing a distance between myself, the bike and the kurbe, and in two weeks I\'m off for vaccation. Supprisingly so with Pär, the same Pär I got over amongst sunshine, SKOL, roti cenai, underground live music, creepy pictures on BINGO (Thanks for reminding me Andy, I still smoke like a chimney) and brittish scrabble (Yes, I remember when we celebrated your biggest win over Andy, Ali) mostly because he tried so hard for so long getting me back into his life, and friendship turned into love again so on and so on, but I can aver you this will be a smaller vaccation this time, two weeks tops!
I think of you sometimes and haven\'t forgotten about you, and I\'m so very thankful for everything you did for me in Langkawi (I know you\'re getting uncomfortable now) and I really hope that Sweden are getting on your \"places to go list\" sooner or later, you know you\'ll always have a place to stay where I\'m at (you\'re getting really uncomfortable now), but I would be honored and enjoyed it!
In a shorter version, I\'m really good, back together with Pär and enyojing myself, us and life, and still going strong, doing what I belive in: embrace life it\'s the only one you got!
awesome I must be honest. I haven´t read the blog but I had a look at the pictures. You are an artist. Excellent. Sri Lanka is on my list for the future... Hugs from Argentina.
Nice Nice blog, and I liked the photo of the young monks lined up. We went to Burma (sounds so much more exotic than Myanmar, I agree) 5 years back and my blog is still getting regular hits which clued me in that tourism was on the up. Pity about the equivalent up in the price tags.
SENSATIONAL Sensational...cracker photography in this blog...warms the heart. I'll nominate this for Photo of the Week...I'm rather partial to portraits!
Rainy sunday afternoon Hi Guys. Yes it is Sunday and raining in Dunblane so I thought I would look at your blog. Fantastic. Stunning photos and story lines to match. Now please bear in mind that you were in competition with Andy Murray winning the Gold but I honestly find your blog so interesting. Thanks for letting me know about it and am now (along with Liz) part of your faithful followers. Good luck and keep the news coming. Chris
