This morning I caught a one hour flight from Bangkok to Siem Reap, Cambodia. This is the gateway to Angkor Wat and the other ancient Khmer temples, buildings, and, indeed, cities. I’ll have more to say about that tomorrow after I start my tour. Today I’ll give you some impressions of Cambodia. It is hot and humid. More than once today I had the experience of walking from an air conditioned vehicle or building into the outside world and having my glasses steam up. I stopped by the Catholic church and noticed some differences compared to US churches.
