Driving to Ohio, with a Stop in Illinois: Family, Pizza, and Haunted Trails - Oh My!

We had a big family reunion planned at Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio. It's about a 12 hour drive, so we stopped in the Chicago area on the way to see other family. From Hocking Hills, I knew I'd want to go see Cuyahoga Valley National Park about 3 hours north of the state park. From there, it's only about another 3 hours to Niagara Falls. So, our family road trip turned into an epic road trip from Iowa to New York, with a detour through Canada!
