Mai's Story Thank you for sharing this story with us. I stumbled across your blogs and this was a fascinating read. Your organization is doing great work. Keep it up!
Mai's story My partner & I stumbled across Karen's shop in April this year. We met Mai & bought one of his exquisite hats, which people commented on during the remainder of our trip. It now is a feature on the wall in our living area. You do such great work for the community Karen. Go Mai - your story is inspiring!
Keep up the good work chi Lieu ! Keep up the good work chi Lieu ! You'd be pleased to know that your beautiful products (and other's from LifeStart) were in display and for sale at LifeStart Dinner Dance in July just past! We still remember our visit at the workshop when we did some filming for VNTV (Vietnamese Television) program in Melbourne.
Great stuff Sue ! Great to see you enjoying the challenges, the company, the diversity different to your "civil service job" back home, while at the same time making real difference to people's lives at LifeStart Foundation ! Are you thinking of doing a bike ride from Saigon to Hanoi like the Top Gear team ? :-)
Congratulations I couldn't agree more with Karen's comments in this blog. Thank you Sue for your friendship and support during our time with Lifestart last year. Hopefully we will visit you for a catch up next year. Regards and best wishes, Roslyn

Jac and Oscar are a recently married special young couple. Jac volunteered with Lifestart in Vietnam several years ago and we have remained friends ever since. She now has a company called Crusoeden Body which has a gorgeous range of products. Have a look at the passing it on link on their website. They donate part of their profits to Lifestart and also sell a range of our workshop products at their weekend market stalls.

To educate a child for 1 year is approx $360, this includes all books and uniforms. My next blog will launch the Lifestart Foundation 7 year Education Scholarship Project which is $2,500 for a child to attend school from year 6 through to year 12.
Hope this answers your question.
Cheers Karen
