Good to see some of the sock monkeys have a return trip to Aust. Hi Nhung, it was great to meet you and share a joke and a laugh. I was pleased to see some of the socks we transported over come back on our return visit with our students as sock monkeys! Keep up the ggod work we hope to see you next year. Love Dave & Sue
Using the coaster now! Hi Xuyen,, my wife Sue wanted to give the coasters to her friend who is very sick...but does not drink wine or tea. I thought I would give them to my brother in law who was only born with one hand. He drins plenty of wine and tea. But no. I have decided to keep them for my self...to think of your friendly smile, you working out with the equipment at the new centre and visit you again. Best wishes David and Sue.
Thrilled! I LOVE my sock monkey Sarah. While at the workshop, I also got to meet Nhung. Wjat a beautiful girl with a beautiful smile. I was honored to meet her. I am inspired by her story. She doesn't give up! I hope the best for her and she finds the man of her dreams!
Congratulations Karen and the team! What a fantastic effort! It was heart-warming to read of the money raised from this event. If it wasn't for the fact that we live in Sydney we would have been there.
Peace & Love,
Michelle

Ruth is a national treasure wherever she goes. Ruth I loved reading your blog. I'm not at all surprised that the students have all improved with your enthusiasm help and patience. Great to see that other people can benefit from knowing you, and that you are able to enjoy teaching again, you have such a talent for it. Keep us posted, love Jin X
Thank you for your comment and questions. Our library is very small ( a few cupboards actually!) and consists mainly of donated books. Some are in English, some Vietnamese and some bilingual. We have also had a few monetary donations that Ruth has used to purchase books locally and this has been very helpful to build up the collection of books.
Good job Karen, Always enjoy reading your blogs. What kind of books have you accumulated in the library? How do you get your donations?
Very nice. Thanks again.
Ruth - THE volunteer Wonderful to catch the news from Ruth,,,it would seem Ruth is continuing the good work of volunteering with those less priveleged as she did in UK at Riding for the disabled where we walked the fields in all weathers, sat making Easter bonnets in her kitchen, served hog roast at the hoe down for a fund raising event and I hope her smile continues to provide the inspiration she gave me - and I am sure many others. kim x
You are great! Dear Ruth,
Loved the blog. You are truly inspiring. Makes me want to get on a plane and come and see you. The pupils must love your enthusiasm and bubbly personality. I'd happily come and be creative in your class. Keep up the great work.

Great gifts! So lovely to read this story, we have bought many of these little notebooks and give them away as presents as well as using them ourselves at home. JX
THANK YOU Thank you so much for your help. This is what our world needs: PEOPLE LIKE YOU HELPING OTHERS. I also do simple things helping an extended family in a city where I live. It has changed their lives just a little bit, that is good. Love from Argentina.
Another wonderful story..... Hi Karen
yet another wonderful example of your work in Vietnam. This is another great cause and it's fantastic to read these stories. We miss Vietnam and Oz.....hope to see you soon. Have a great Christmas.
