Kara Deniz - Black Sea - and Kars - A Genuine Turkish Experience

a trip by Mary Lyons
From: July 6th 2011
Until: July 15th 2011

I traveled to the Black Sea and Eastern Turkey near the Armenian border. This part of Turkey has much to offer - friendly people, good food, and a lot of history - without being touristy or overdone. The people are still genuine and still not used to seeing foreigners, especially a woman traveling alone as I did in Kars.
