I waited too late to book a trip outside of China for the New Year and everything was too expensive, except Beijing. There is a reason it's cheap at New Year. It was cold and crowded, but Enis and I had a good time anyway.

I don't have a nickname, so I decided to use my AT'03 trailname for this blog even though it has nothing to do with the Appalachian Trail. That is a whole different story. I started teaching internationally in 2006 and finally had the money to travel overseas after dreaming about it for many years.
