Geronimo Amescua Reyes I met this gentleman in the 1960's. He owned a guitar store called La Casa De Las Guitarras".
I am wondering if his family continued on with the business?
I met Geronimo Amezcua Reyes in the early 1960's. I drove to Paracho from San Francisco, Ca to purchase a guitar from his store, La Casa de las Guitars". Does his business still exist?
I would like to visit Parch again soon.
That's all Folks! Hi Moira and Graeme,
All good things come to an end, but this is a sad and happy moment quandary as we rightly know. What a wonderful journey to add to your long list of adventures! We've missed you by a few weeks; heading for Huntsville Ontario, then The Adirondacks and The Finger Lakes Upper NY State, on the 15th September! Have a safe journey home and looking forward to a 'catch-up' sometime soon! You might just get your RV on our drive! David and Janice

After about 2 months I had a bad wreck in Mérida and ended my trip. I will complete it in the future. Hopefully with a partner next time. Glad to see that your travels continue and that you are having a good time. All the best- Tim

Ola Hello dear friends. I so enjoyed reading this colorful blog entry. Your sense of adventure is admirable and your experiences quite interesting. I felt like I was right there with you and, as a matter of fact, wish we were. Lovely photos of the beautiful Mexican women and Frieda's museum which is on my bucket list. Safe, happy travels.
So good to read all your adventures! And thank you for the nice resume of our time together in SanJuanDel Lago! Safe travel, a lot of fun along your road too! Xoxoxo
Of mice and men with guns HI Moira and Graeme,
What a lively blog! That's life on the road I guess: full of ups and downs but always topped with cream and strawberries. Strange border experience with the visas? There's no consistency, we managed a 'fresh six months' on re-entry; from Canada and Costa Rica. Still very envious!

Well, we have talked about it for years now at last we have taken the plunge. Call it "adult gap year", career break or mid life crisis, but the house is sold, possessions in store, sold, on loan, given or thrown away, many parties had and our old life on hold. Now we are making final preparations to head to the USA to purchase our new home ( an RV) and travel North, Central and Southern America or where ever the road takes us. Watch this space ..........
MAY 2016........ well we enjoyed it so much last time, we always we said we would do it again. It may have taken us a decade to get to do ... full info
