aloha!! oooooooooooh looks fab, would love to go there. Saw trish the other day -really looking forward to seeing you guys. Turtles look amaxing - wonder what they taste like!! - only joking - had the chance in Cuba but couldn't bring myself to do it. Glad you are both ok - this place has gone mad!! Much love always, Julia
Merry Christmas Happy Christmas to you both, wherever you are at the moment (hopefully Mexico)! Hope your fully recovered from your acrobatic bike ride Moira! Love and best wishes for the new year, Steve and Kamla xxxxx.
wilfred Looking at the photo of the sea lions looks like fat wilfred asleep by the one heat source in the house. We have now had snow for the 2nd time and the builder felt so sorry for me last night in sub zero temps and a gaping hole above the back door that he offered me a bedromm at his house. No he is not a dirty old man but an old pensioner.I was tempted but coudldn't leave the poor furrey ones to freeze as Wilfred hogs the heat and doesn't give the other two a look in.
Think of us in the cold and maybe send us over some warm weather.
Lots of love
Annabel
Hi Moira,I have enjoyed reading your blog in my leisure time, glad to hear you are both having a great time, it looks fantastic in the photos, very envious.. SORRY! had to chuckle at your bike escapade, but I know you would of done the same thing. Look forward to next episode x k
Hi Moira and Graeme .
It snowed here last night so reading about the beach and sunshine kind of strange ,we still have no heating and 1/4 roof to finish .Pismo beach is lovely ,i remember thinking i could have lived there. I stayed in Moro bay (?sp ) .
Still sounds as if you are having a lot of fun ,I am so glad i didn't get the full hospital experience when i had my tour of a hospital in Hanoi ,mind you would have been a darn site cheaper.
Talk to you soon ,i am in the house hibernating most of the time now .
Lots of love
Annabel.
poor moi Sorry to hear about your accident Moi, hope you are feeling okay now. Just goes to show too much excercise isn't good for you so we don't do a lot!! It looks like you are having a fab time. The weather sounds wonderful to; it is bitterly cold here. We look forward to your updates, they are full of great info about the places you are travelling through. Must go now as nearly midnight and I am at uni tomorrow. Take care and love to you both. Caroline, Kim Alex and Harrietxx
Marvelous Terrific blog, it looks fantastic. And you've been away 3 months already! Photos and commentary are great, like something out of Northern Exposure. Looking forward to the next installment

I continue to be very jealous of you both .It looks great and you sound as if you are having a brill time.Nice to hear you are meeting lots of generous kind people ,that is what travel is all about.
We are fine ,roof kind of coming along ,thankfully not £22,000 worth. My own caravan ( not to your scale ) will be arriving soon ,yes this is how my life and the renovations are progressing .Cente sprung that one on me rather out of the blue and it may even be into the colder months AHHHHHH .A trip to the luxury of your rig is definatly on the cards.
Lots of love
Annabel,Cente and the furrey ones.
Liking Canada Quick update for you. Have sussed out some RV parks in Vancouver for you. Its a great place and we are sure you will love it. Loved the train ride across the Rockies and would suggest you try it. Now in Toronto and off to Niagra in a min to see the falls. Will drop u an email when we return with all the details on the RV parks.
Anyway gotta run, need to find some more food to eat!!!!
Love Eckie and Trish
wish you were here? It all sounds a real bore to me. Whoever would want to raom around with no real work to do and all that lousy scenery to look at? Just off to clean the oven.
Hi! Hi - free tickets to Mark Knoffler - you jammy buggers! obviousely am not even sure who he is but anyway! The Womad festival in reading (World music and dance)was fab - full of all sorts old, young, new born, crumbly, I got called a lovely little trinket by vanessa feltz - best mates now!! Also got attacked by a (male)fairy - honestly, bloke in tutu, glitter tights etc would have been scary as had really hairy armpits and I initially thought it was a woman, so felt much better (strangely) that it was a man. He covered me in glitter - not usually a problem but he was not selective in his area of coverage!! Am still finding bits now. Drags and I are good - have just purchased an orange (yes orange) suede (so sensible) corner sofa!! Was an absolute bargain but am pleased as we managed to make a decision we both agree on at last!! You know what I mean. Anyway chaps - big love, keep sending the reports back as I love reading them, the mountain flowers were lovely - wish I could see something like that. Keep safe and lots of love. Ju xxx
good to read the news Hi Moi and Graeme
I have been to shasta ,very beautiful
Oh my god they are all on zimmers ,do they sell those at Wal-mart.We also have awal-mart (super big Asda ) in Swindon.
8 Hrs shopping now that is great, good to hear you have developed even greater skills since being away.
Things have been rather hairy here since the bombs have been going off.
I will try and phone you later .
Love
Annabel
Shape of things to come? Glad to see you both settling into your new home and ever changing surroundings (although most Wal Mart car parks look the same)! I am sure the "newbie" status will soon go once you have a few weeks under the belt. The RV looks great and nice choice on the colours (even the bed spread). Bit concerned about the "quilting" reference as it conjured an image of Moi sitting in her collapsable rocking chair "Quilting" while Graeme sings the blues on his guitar on the steps of the RV!!! Anyway glad to see you are both well and take care of each other.
Well, we have talked about it for years now at last we have taken the plunge. Call it "adult gap year", career break or mid life crisis, but the house is sold, possessions in store, sold, on loan, given or thrown away, many parties had and our old life on hold. Now we are making final preparations to head to the USA to purchase our new home ( an RV) and travel North, Central and Southern America or where ever the road takes us. Watch this space ..........
MAY 2016........ well we enjoyed it so much last time, we always we said we would do it again. It may have taken us a decade to get to do ... full info
