Okay the 5 week vacation is officially in progress!!! Woke up on sunday and grabbed my stuff after I spent 3 days cleaning because well you know how it is(at least with me, I didn't want science experiments growing in my house). Anyways, so left at 8 am and got a taxi, but in wuhan getting a taxi on a holiday is never an easy process. walked about 12 minutes and it took another 15 min to grab a taxi(even with Jenny(who speaks mandrin fluently)). I am sooo full. We went to aloha's and had american thanksgiving! Pumpkin pie was AWESOME, just like from home. Also I know I am horrible at wirting entries. I have never ever been any good at remembering to put in writing entries at any time. I am sitting here at my computer at night and am soo full its unbeilevable. Anyways paul took photo's which I will try to steal so that I can post them here. All is good so far. I have 35 teaching days left until I go on holidays. woohooo!! No I am not counting down yet. I have 21 days left and I have not done anything. I have gone to Fairmont and lazed around for 4 days, and now I am at my sisters in lethbridge. Basically I have not done anything since I stopped working at my summer job. I must start planning for the new school year though. I will start that tomorrow. It has been a pretty good week though altogether. I am not really much of a blogger but this is my basic entry so that I may start posting when I get to China.... read more
